Change the name shown in the header and the browser tab.

Enter what your bank showed at the start of the starting date. Transactions and recurring items dated on or after that day are added to it.

This amount represents possible daily spending that has not yet been entered as an actual expense. Once you enter an actual one-off expense for a day, that day's placeholder is automatically replaced by the actual expense. Set it to 0 to turn placeholders off.

Check "Column" to give a category its own column in the Forecast table, separate from other expenses.

Choose a category (W2, Business, Cashback, etc.) whenever you log income, so different sources of money stay separated.

Add a data point from a past paycheck whenever you get one: the overtime hours you worked that period, and that period's total paycheck amount. The Timesheet page uses these to show an "Approximately" dollar figure for the current week's overtime - an exact match if you've entered that exact number of hours before, otherwise interpolated between your two closest data points.

Your data lives only in this browser. Export a backup file now and then, and import it to restore or move to another device.

Link this device to a sync code and your data auto-saves to the cloud. Enter the exact same code on another device to see the same data there too. Anyone who has the code can read and change this data, so keep it private - it isn't a password-protected account, just a shared key. Requires this app to be hosted with the cloud sync backend set up (see setup instructions).

Rename any Finances-page box, and choose whether it's added to or subtracted from your accounts total. Reorder them from Customize layout above (pick "Finances" in the section picker).
